They called it the Neon Mirage. A vision that once appeared only in whispered hallucinations and fever dreams. Legends speak of a hidden gate—somewhere between the waking mind and the place beyond colour—where this eye watches. It doesn’t blink. It doesn’t sleep. It simply sees.

With its black pupil like a collapsed sun, the iris explodes in spectral shards—red to violet, anger to serenity, each hue a frequency of forgotten emotion. Some say those colours aren’t just visual—they vibrate, they sing, and if you stare too long, you’ll hear the tune you were born to forget.

The background twists and stretches like time itself trying to rewrite memory—chaotic swirls of candy pink, cyan, lemon-lime, and deep abyssal blacks. They’re not just colours. They’re decoys. They pull you in, wrap around your perception, and hide what this eye really came to show.

Art? Symbol? Warning? Maybe all three.

Artist's Note. In this particular image, I crafted a bright and attractive graphic design in the context of an eye icon. The iris of this eye is of numerous colours arranged in a rainbow style with a deep black pupil at the middle. Dispersed around the eye there are blurred forms which are in gentle shades of pink, blue and yellow and contribute to the overall effect of movement in space. Eye maybe interpreted as the sense of seeing, in other words, there may be a concealed knowledge or the possibility of having more knowledge in a certain situation. The rainbow colours are a symbol of progressive dimensions such as: diversity, inclusiveness or even spectrums of experiences, the craziness of the stroke may symbolise insanity of emotion and thought. In total, the use of colours and shapes allows the viewer to come up with their concept about vision and consciousness and can produce different emotions from curiosity to meditation in a viewer.
