Description

Somewhere between waking and dreaming, Dreamwave Vision captures the precise moment your mind starts to drift into other dimensions. A radiant eye, hypnotic and vibrant, floats at the centre of a pastel ocean — like it’s watching your thoughts bloom in slow motion. The rainbow iris pulses with energy, surrounded by calm, swirling waves that almost look like they’re breathing. It feels like an invitation to pause and just... look. Is it seeing you? Or are you seeing something deeper through it? Either way, the longer you stare, the more it feels like it’s unlocking something hidden inside you — a quiet truth or a vivid memory that doesn’t have words.

Artist's Note. In this vision I painted, we can see a big lively eye on a colourful spherical background that involves soft pastel colours. Surrounded by the oval, one will see a series of concentric circles with a spiralling colour spectrum of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple in between the pupil and iris. This is perhaps best seen with the eyelashes which provide depth by creating contrast in the vivid colours around the iris region. The background is soft and has organic patterns that gives it a flowing like feel, almost like it can be a dream like scenery kind of like Waking Night Terrors. It was written probably with intention to juxtapose the clear eye and the gentle swirling colours, which might probably have reference to perception, awareness, human emotions and thoughts or anything more complex than that. The colour choice, counting rainbow colours, might symbolised, for instance, divetity and tolerance, while the eye itself as the symbol of vision let the viewer open the second, the third, etc., meanings and interpretations of the imagery. On balance, it is the icon that symbolises the concept of casting a Nalanda Eye over the world and learning to wonder.
