Ever wonder what it looks like when a dream peeks back at you? This eye might have the answer. From the outside, it's bold and simple; a thick black outline that makes it feel like a drawing from a comic strip. But step closer… and it opens into a sky full of curious thoughts.
Inside the iris, little clouds drift lazily past golden suns and sleepy stars. There's no fixed time her it's morning and night and somewhere in between, all at once. The colours roll into each other like a soft tumble of teal, orange, and magenta, a playground for the imagination.
It doesn't shout for attention. It invites you in, quietly, to look a little longer. Maybe you'll see something new each time. Maybe it'll just remind you that your mind still knows how to wander off, even when your feet stay put.
Great for spaces where creativity needs to breathe or for those who still daydream with their eyes open.
Artist's Note
This one's a little doorway... or maybe more like a cartoon tunnel straight into someone's imagination. I drew the eye with a bold black outline, kind of like a comic panel, strong, definite, unmistakably an eye. But inside? That's where the rules sort of melt.
The iris turns into a soft swirl of clouds, stars, and suns, like a sky that can't pick a time of day. There's teal and orange and pink in there, all bumping into each other like thoughts that don't quite stay still. And somehow, it's calm.
The contrast feels intentional: sharp edges on the outside, but the inside is floating, dreamy, unstructured. It's a reminder that while the real world might feel fixed and rigid, your mind can still wander freely, no permission needed.
I was thinking about how we don't just see with our eyes, we imagine, we project, we daydream. This eye kinda says: you don't just look out… you look in too.
So yeh, it's a dreamy one.
