Artist’s Note

I created this one with the idea of awakening through overload. The eye is sharp, intense—kind of staring right into you—while everything around it feels like it’s flowing, melting, breathing colour. I spent ages shaping the iris with blues, purples, and neon yellows to give it that "electric" vibe, like it’s alive with thought.

The background is full-on psychedelic; I wanted it to feel like a dream or hallucination caught in motion. The eye lashes came out bold and dramatic, giving it a sort of surreal beauty. I like how it pulls you in and then spins your attention into the background, like a loop between perception and imagination.

This piece is about those moments when your senses overwhelm your thoughts—and you just see everything.
