Story – Visionary Glow
Some say it appeared one night in a dream, a glowing eye, floating in a world of soft colours and endless swirls. Not watching, not judging just being.
It hovered between thought and feeling, like a memory you can’t place but somehow understand.
Its gaze wasn’t piercing, but inviting. You didn’t just see the eye, you felt it seeing you. Around it, the colours moved like water and light, blending moments and ideas you’ve had before but never named. Were they emotions? Places? Lives? No words, no answers. Just quiet understanding.
Somewhere between the waking world and whatever comes after, Visionary Glow lives, an eye not made to witness reality, but to explore the unseen spaces between your mind and the universe.
Artist's Note – PsEyeFlow #18
This piece focuses on a bold, centrally placed eye surrounded by smooth pastel waves. I drew the eye with a thick black outline to keep it feeling strong and present, something that really holds your gaze. The iris is filled with a bright gradient, moving through red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple in one continuous swirl. It’s got a sort of hypnotic glow, like a lens into some other space.
The background came together more intuitively soft and flowy, made up of gentle pinks, yellows, blues and purples. It kind of feels like light drifting through mist, or the way thoughts float when you're in that half-dream state. I wanted that soft swirl behind the sharp eye to hint at contrasts: focus vs blur, control vs flow, conscious vs subconscious.
Altogether, it feels like the eye is both watching and dreaming at once. Like it sees the surface but also senses more, something layered and emotional underneath. Maybe it’s about perception, or insight, or just being awake inside a surreal world. I’m not too sure, but it makes people stop and stare, which is always a good sign.
To me, this one sits somewhere between alertness and imagination, something steady in the middle of a changing, colourful world.
