This piece has a quietly vast quality. Inner Horizon feels like standing at the edge of your imagination, watching whole worlds drift across your thoughts. The eye itself is calm and curious, softly colored in pastels of pink, violet, and cream, but inside the iris, a universe exists. You can see a tiny world spinning beneath a cosmic shimmer, like a reflection of another reality waiting for your attention.

The shapes curl around the pupil in a way that feels tidal, as if the gaze is pulling you inward and urging you to explore. There’s a slight sense of motion, as if time is bending around a moment of wonder. The entire piece floats on a pale, dreamlike gradient that shifts from light blush to soft white, giving it a surreal sense of weightlessness.

It’s not loud or chaotic; it’s patient. It invites you to slow down, to look closer, and to remember that sometimes the biggest landscapes aren't out there—they’re inside.

Artist’s Note:
When I began this piece, I didn’t plan to add the little world inside the eye. It just appeared as I layered tones of blue and cream. Once it did, everything else adjusted around it. Suddenly, it wasn’t just an eye—it became a window into something larger.

The name Inner Horizon came from that realization: we often look outward for meaning, yet there’s an endless horizon within us too. The pastel tones aim to keep it peaceful, like a dream that doesn’t need explanation. Sometimes I think art like this serves as a mirror—it doesn’t show what you look like, but what you feel like.
