Chromatic Tide feels like a dream that refused to stay still. The whole thing moves, with colours sliding over each other like liquid light. There’s a pulse in it, like it’s thinking, like the colours themselves are alive. The eye at the centre glows in gold and deep sea blue, surrounded by swirls of neon pinks, fiery oranges, and soft violets that twist together as if caught in some invisible current. It’s chaotic, but it’s the good kind of chaos, the kind that makes everything feel alive.

When I stare at it, I get that same feeling you get watching ink spread through water, unpredictable but somehow perfect. Every swirl finds its place without trying too hard. The bright bubbles floating around it add this playful kind of rhythm, almost like they’re laughing at the edges of the storm. It’s energy without effort, movement without force. The kind of motion that feels effortless, like inspiration hitting you when you least expect it.

Chromatic Tide reminds me of how creativity works when you stop trying to control it. It’s messy, loud, full of surprises, but it always finds its own beauty. Every colour in here feels like an emotion halfway between joy and curiosity. It’s the moment when your thoughts stop being ideas and start turning into something real. It’s that in-between place, the heartbeat right before you create.

This one came from a random accident. I was cleaning my brushes and watching the colours swirl in the rinse water. It looked like a little world spinning on its own. I didn’t plan any of this; I just followed that motion. The curls and colour shifts almost painted themselves. I didn’t want to tame it or make it neat. It had to stay wild, just like that moment of inspiration that sneaks up on you before you can explain it.

Chromatic Tide is me learning to trust the flow, letting instinct take over and watching colour tell its own story. It’s not about perfection, it’s about motion. The kind that reminds you art is alive even before you finish it.
