Artist’s Note
I created this one with the idea of awakening through overload. The eye is sharp, intense kind of staring right into you,while everything around it feels like it’s flowing, melting, breathing colour. I spent ages shaping the iris with blues, purples, and neon yellows to give it that "electric" vibe, like it’s alive with thought.
The background is full-on psychedelic; I wanted it to feel like a dream or hallucination caught in motion. The eye lashes came out bold and dramatic, giving it a sort of surreal beauty. I like how it pulls you in and then spins your attention into the background, like a loop between perception and imagination.
This piece is about those moments when your senses overwhelm your thoughts- and you just see everything.
