This one came out like a calm explosion of colour, if that makes sense. The eye feels like it's quietly holding a whole rainbow inside, with every hue folded into the next. There's a soft glow to it, like the last moment before you wake up from a dream that felt too real to let go. The shapes move in a slow swirl, almost like a portal but peaceful, not pulling you in, just inviting you to stare for a bit longer.

It's one of those pieces where you don't need to think too much. You just feel it. The balance between the warm tones and the cooler edges gives it a kind of floating harmony. Almost like it's reminding you that stillness can be just as powerful as chaos. It doesn't shout, it hums, softly, with colour.

Artist's Note:
This was painted during a quiet night when everything felt still. I wanted to see if I could capture silence using colour. I played with layers of light and gradients until the middle started to breathe on its own. The small diamonds around the eye were a late addition. They represent fragile thoughts that sparkle only when you pause long enough to notice them. Feels right for number 99, near the edge of something ending, but glowing all the same.
