PsEyeFlow #24 - Prism Reflection

I slammed my fist against the void and this eye answered back with a blaze of colour. Each ring of that iris is a jagged roar, blue bleeding into red, bursting into yellow like a prism shattering under the weight of its own fury. The black rim holds the storm, but you can feel it straining to break free, desperate to scorch the soft pastel swirls into ashes of light.

It’s not content to simply observe. It glares at the world with blazing intensity, daring you to meet its gaze. The surrounding marbled hues whisper of calm waters, but those currents conceal a raging undercurrent. Every swirl fights for its place, every shade pushes its own agenda, and the eye at the center drives them all with unrelenting energy.

Stare too long and you’ll feel it in your chest, like heat against your ribs. It asks the question: Can you stand still when everything around you wants to move? Can you hold peace in your bones when the world demands passion? The answer flickers in every shift of colour, in every tremor behind the pupil.

If you think art is meant to soothe, think again. This is art that wakes you up, that sparks a wildfire behind your eyes and refuses to settle until you’ve faced your own reflection.

Artist’s Note

I used harsh black lines to trap the rage inside, then let the gradient explode outward. The contrast between soft pastels and vivid flames of colour is meant to feel like beauty edged with fury.
